ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows and Linux servers. There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Faculty/Staff MyDocuments and Department Shares
  • Student Unix home directories
  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites
  • WWW站点
  • UMSL Blogs and other WordPress blogs
  • Library databases
  • Web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

Windows / Linux Server Patching and Oracle Database Maintenance

Start Time: 4/24/20 5:30 pm -End Time: 4/24/20 9:30 pm

Description

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows and Linux servers.There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Faculty/Staff MyDocuments and Department Shares
  • Student Unix home directories
  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites
  • WWW站点

  • Library databases

Additionally, database administrators will perform Oracle maintenance during this time.

There will be brief/intermittent outages of all UMSL production Oracle databases, and most web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance period.

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

mysharepoint.umsl.edu not responding

Description

Reports are coming in of users having problems connecting to mysharepoint.umsl.edu. ITS is aware of the issue and working to resolve it.

Update: At this time, all SharePoint sites should be functioning normally. Please report any further issues to the Technical Support Center.

File Server Disk Maintenance

Start Time: 4/19/19 5:00 pm -End Time: 4/20/19 5:00 am

Description

From 5:00pm – 7:00pm, ITS will perform disk maintenance on Steamboat / K: drive file servers. During this time, there will be intermittent access to faculty and staff personal files (last names beginning K-Z) and all departmental shares.

Beginning at 5:00pm, Soulard files for faculty and staff will be moved to newer storage. Files stored on soulard will be unavailable until the migration completes in early morning hours. During the migration, most departmental pages on www.brima-immo.com should be available via a cached copy, but faculty/staff personal home pages will be unavailable.
